The Parlour Studios and Project Space.

Whether you need somewhere to network, train or facilitate, we can provide you with a flexible space and the right support to make sure you get the most out of your event.

Our ethos is one of providing opportunities for people to develop, and our working environment means The Parlour Studios and Project Space is an excellent venue for events to unfold.

A Flexible Space
The Parlour Studios and Project Space comprises of three individual spaces, which can be used in jointly to host up to 50 people, or independently at a capacity of 15 to 35 people. 

Support
We have a range of resources and equipment on offer to ensure that you have everything you need during your time at The Parlour Studios and Project Space, whether you are here for one hour, or the whole day. Facilities include laptops with wireless Internet access and DVD facilities, hot desks, projector, photocopier, telephone and fax facilities.

We can also provide you with the right people to ensure you have the right level of support on the day, such as a receptionist, personal assistant, trainer, facilitator.

Our experienced Events Team will coordinate the right facilities and support for your event, and provide assistance on the day itself. Contact our Events Team to discuss you hosting needs: parlour@mapalim.com

Catering
We can provide you anything from tea, coffee and biscuits, hot or cold buffets, to wine receptions

Rates
Inside office hours (8:30am–6:30pm, Monday-Friday) the rates for venue hire range from £10 - £13 per hour. Rates are reduced to £5 - £7 per hour for the Parlour Studio Members.

Outside office hours (Before 8:30am–after 6:30pm, Monday–Friday and weekends) rates for venue hire range from £18 - £21 per hour. Rates are reduced to £5 - £7 per hour for the Parlour Studio Members

Light refreshments (tea, coffee, and biscuits) £10 for up to 15 people
Light refreshments served (as above) £20 per day

The Parlour Studios

At the Parlor Studios, we can provide you with a studio workspace, and the opportunity to meet and collaborate with people from a range of arts backgrounds. If you are looking for somewhere to create and develop your work, the Parlour Studios is the ideal environment.

The Parlour Studios Membership

Bronze £50 per year
1 month-long exhibition plus press and electronic marketing for your event

Silver £25/38 per week*
Half residency with studio space 3.5 days per week, plus Internet and kitchen facilities
1 month-long exhibition plus press and electronic marketing for your event

Gold £50/£75 per week*
Full residency with studio space 7 days per week, plus Internet and kitchen facilities
1 month-long exhibition plus press and electronic marketing for your event

* The Parlour studio spaces are available at two different sizes and two different rates. Either one of four larger spaces (14m2) in 187 Queens Crescent for £75 per week or one of four spaces (7.5m2) in 185 Queens Crescent for £50 per week. A 5% discount is offered for anyone taking more than one space.
